My name is Werner Thurau and I am the author of Galileo's Shadow. Some books you want to read because they are written by a famous person. This is not the case here. If anything is found of interest or importance in Galileo's Shadow it is the ideas it contains and the conclusions it reaches. The book is based solidly on physics, but it is not mathematical and intended for the general reader who is interested in science. As physics can now destroy us all, I feel that this interest is practically forced on us. We should all know where this particular science is heading. The conclusions reached in the book will surprise many readers and may be a source of comfort to some.
